Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2 June 2026
This Privacy Policy describes the rules for processing personal data and the use of cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) on the AI4I website, available at www.ai4i.pl (the “Website”). “GDPR” means Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of personal data.
1. Data Controller
The controller of your personal data and the operator of the Website is:
AI4I sp. z o.o.ul. Jasna 14A/33, 44-122 Gliwice, Poland
NIP (Tax ID): 6312715953, KRS: 0001059120, REGON: 526446740
For all matters relating to the processing of personal data, you may contact us by post at the above address or by telephone at +48 32 224 91 31.
2. What data we collect and for what purpose
Using the Website does not require creating an account or providing data in forms. The only category of personal data we process in connection with your visit to the Website is your IP address (together with related connection data, such as the date and time of access).
We process your IP address in order to:
- ensure the security and proper administration of the Website (server logs),
- compile audience statistics using Google Analytics.
The legal basis for processing is:
- Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (the controller’s legitimate interest in ensuring the security and administration of the Website) — with respect to server logs,
- Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent) — with respect to cookies and data processed by Google Analytics and Google Maps. You give your consent via the “Cookie settings” window and you may withdraw it at any time.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
The Website uses cookies and similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) — small files or pieces of data stored on your end device. We use:
- necessary cookies — required for the proper operation of the Website and to remember your privacy choices; these do not require consent,
- analytics cookies (Google Analytics) — allow us to measure traffic and how the Website is used; set only after you have given consent,
- map-related cookies (Google Maps) — may be stored when the map showing the location of our office is displayed; set only after consent has been given.
You manage your consent for cookies other than necessary ones in the “Cookie settings” window. You can also change your cookie settings or delete stored files in your web browser’s settings. Restricting the use of cookies may affect some functions of the Website.
4. Google Analytics and Google Maps
On the Website we use services provided by Google:
- Google Analytics — for the statistical analysis of traffic on the Website,
- Google Maps — to present the location of our office.
The provider of these services for users from the European Economic Area is Google Ireland Limited. These services operate on the basis of cookies and may process your IP address and identifiers stored in cookies. The rules under which Google processes data are described in Google’s privacy policy.
5. Transfer of data to third countries
Using Google’s services and delivering the Website via the Amazon CloudFront CDN may involve the transfer of data (including your IP address) to entities based in the United States — Google LLC and Amazon Web Services, Inc. respectively. Both companies participate in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, and data is transferred on the basis of this mechanism as well as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, which ensures an adequate level of data protection.
We do not transfer your data to third countries for purposes other than those indicated above.
6. Hosting
The Website is a static website maintained in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure. The Website’s files are stored in the Amazon S3 service and are delivered to users via the Amazon CloudFront content delivery network (CDN). The provider of these services for users from the European Economic Area is Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL, based in Luxembourg.
Due to the way the CDN works, the Website’s content is cached and delivered from edge servers (so-called edge locations) located in various parts of the world — closest to the user — which may include locations outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, the data transfer mechanisms described in section 5 apply.
7. Data recipients
The recipients of your data may be:
- the provider of the hosting infrastructure and CDN — Amazon Web Services (the Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront services) — on the basis of a data processing agreement,
- Google — with respect to the Google Analytics and Google Maps services,
- the controller’s authorised associates and entities providing IT services to it, to the extent necessary to administer the Website.
8. Data retention period
- Server logs (including IP address) — stored for the period necessary to administer the Website and ensure security (a maximum of 12 months), and then deleted or anonymised.
- Data in Google Analytics — for a retention period of 14 months.
- Data processed on the basis of consent — until consent is withdrawn.
9. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy of it,
- rectify your data,
- erase your data,
- restrict processing,
- object to processing,
- data portability,
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland) if you consider that the processing of your data infringes the GDPR.
Providing data is voluntary; however, your IP address is processed automatically in connection with the technical use of the Website.
10. Automated decision-making
Your data is not used for automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
11. Changes to the Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The current version is published on the Website each time, together with the date of the last update.
